Frontbuilding ground floor

This holiday quarters of Beukenhof has a warm, intimate charm to it. Old elements, like the high windows but also the newly made“bedstedes”, give the bedrooms a special atmosphere.

This section is also suitable for people with a disability, there are provisions in like special sanitary and on request "high/low" beds

The worldly side of the monastery

The "voorbouw" used to be the "worldly" side of the monastery. Because of the closed order Capucijnen, outsiders/ layman were not allowed in the building but were received here in the consulting rooms and room of the rector.

Classic and sustainable building materials

At the renovation of this portion of Beukenhof classic building materials as clay, wood and marble are used which have a natural look. Wall-and floor heating provide the sustainable heat in the winter.

Facilities of Frontbuilding ground floor

Attractively decorated and equipped with all comforts to enjoy a pleasant stay. The following facilities can be expected:

Communal spaces

  • A private living room, which is exclusively for your group.
  • Tea/coffee facilities.
  • TV, video, stereo
  • Wireless internet through the own network. The private network is for free.

Bedrooms

  • 2-up to 6 person bedrooms
  • These rooms have a private shower and toilet.
  • All bedrooms have washbasins
  • All beds are single beds, most beds are now 2.10 metres long. The beds have fitted sheet and duvet; set of sheets (duvet cover/pillow case) is included in the package.

Outside Area

  • Sufficient seating outside
  • There are several terraces available
  • Nice walking routes.
  • Instead of dinner it is possible to have a barbeque outside (or under a shelter).
