Due to the beautiful living and 11 bedrooms the old water tower is very suitable for a family reunion or another sociable meeting.The Old Water Tower of the monastery is of extreme quality. When the neighbouring community Biezenmortel decided to tear it down, because they now had water pipes, the building contractor was not capable of demolishing the tower. Consequently he lost his business.
Still, as the tower was renovated only natural materials were used like marble, schist and wood. The south-facing water tower gives a splendid view on the beautiful gardens of Beukenhof.
